I heard from someone who had been to Standing Rock recently who had some telling facts to relate. Sounds like illegal sober Burning Man in the badlands, intense. Much respect to those passionate enough to be on the ground. It's a native ceremony, which you're welcome to learn about, but you must respect. It's not about you having a good time. It's run as a matriarchy, no leadership hierarchy but instead 'overlapping circles'His phone stopped working with a full battery as soon as he arrivedThey put white people on the outside of the protest mobs since if they get arrested the world noticesAll new arrivals get a 3 hour orientation to make sure they're helping, not hurting, the cause through 'direct action' aka protestI spent lots with the family playing video games this weekend - one is a flagship title by EA (Titanfall 2, highly recommended, every killstreak gets you a walking tank and you have a grappling hook) and the other is a browser title made by a 5 person team (Airconsole.com). Guess which one supports split screen? The latter only. It boggles my mind how the mechanics of the game industry have completely left behind local multiplayer, such that tiny indie studio create games that get talked about for months. Surely there's still a market out there for these party games?
