Not much this week as I'm in Canada with the family. What have I learned?Eastern Canada is beautiful in that rugged desolate rural way, but there's really nothing there. Even the Hopewell Rocks, where the tide raises 7 meters in 6 hours every day, isn't quite worth the trip on it's own, I'd say.Toronto is a beautiful clean version of New York, hipsters and all. But they don't have much unique for travelers either.Niagara Falls itself is impressive, but the touristy conglomeration of mini golf and laser mazes in the adjoining city is not. Go to Niagara on the Lake for a better experience.
