#438- Orgasm musicals, COVID supplements, and the Lindy way of ancient wisdom
I saw Rachel Lark's new sold-out musical Coming Soon about a woman who has faked her orgasms for 8 years, which was absolutely stupendous and the most approachable yet comprehensive look at the Bay Area poly lifestyle my peers and I lead that I've seen yet.
Too bad their marketing has almost no recordings of the show itself - hopefully she'll release something digitally as time moves on.
Also, I have COVID, at long last! Feeling real crummy right now, but upbeat.
Friends say to get some Paxlovid if you can (CVS has a program), and to load up on these vitamin supplements - other advice welcome.
Quercetin 500 mg twice a day by Pure Encapsulations (1000 mg 2 x a day if sick)
Vitamin D3 5000 IU day by Pure Encapsulations (50,000 IU a day if sick for 10 days)
Zinc citrate 30 mg twice a day by Pure Encapsulations
Vitamin C 1000 mg 2 twice a day (liposomal) by Quicksilver or just regular vitamin C (4000 twice a day if sick)
NAC 600 mg twice a day (or Liposomal Glutathione by Quicksilver 4 pumps twice a day)
Curcumin 1000 mg twice a day (Meriva by Thorne)
NAD+ Gold 4 pumps twice a day by Quicksilver

My good buddy Sahar left Facebook to start this nonprofit and look how far they've come since! They're also fundraising right now - if you're interested I'll forward you the deck he sent me.

The Lindy Way Of Living — nationworldnews.com
'the older a concept is, the better it is at describing reality' or something along those lines, from Nassim Nicholas Taleb. Now some lawyer guy hit it big on Twitter finding all the examples of this, from diet to exercise.
Reminds me of a good friend of mine who only reads books by dead authors along the same logic.
Fun
This avant-garde artist collective does a new fun silly thing each week with brands you've probably heard of. Peruse their archive here. EX: a participation trophy by Tiffany and Co
1978 Star Wars Holiday Special
People used to make fun of this as the lowlight of Star Wars official content back before the sequel trilogy (cough cough) and it certainly is a heaping dose of psychedelic 70s wtf-ness. Happy May the 4th be with you day!
